…In order for the curling iron to work and work well, you need to take small pieces of the hair and hold for AT LEAST 10 seconds.
The directions say a ‘pinkie’s worth’, but you have to consider they are speaking of a 7 year old’s pinkie… so a tiny amount.
Consider the 10 seconds for minimum curl. For better curls, leave it on for 5 more seconds.
…We found it better with the curlers to start at the top and wind the hair around it instead of curling the hair into the roller. We found the curlers worked better than the iron.

…When I was a little girl back in the 60’s Barbie was all I ever hoped for and now to see my granddaughter share the same love, is amazing…
In addition, Barbie’s accessories and clothing live up to the image, durable and fun to play with. This deserves a 5 star rating.
For the daughter outgrowing dolls…

My daughter loves this Barbie! The hair curls beautifully and she loves being able to create different styles.
…This is the only doll she plays with, and she will sit for a while playing, and at nine years old, that says a lot!
