I have bought so many fishing play sets for my son, bc he loves fishing. They usually fall apart the first day he gets them. This is the most I have ever paid for a fishing toy set, but the quality of it is worth it at the end of the day. He loves this toy, and I love playing it with him. The pole is bigger and thicker than most poles. The worms and fish can be good learning tools if you so chose to teach it to them with size smallest to largest, colors, how many. if you have an imagination this toy will surprisingly let you use it.

Great First Fishing with Grandpa Set By Kittyon June 16, 2014 Product Packaging: Standard PackagingVerified Purchase Great-grandson enjoyed the vest most of all. He and his Pop-Pop went fishing for the first time together. Fortunately in the wading pool so Pop-Pop could retrieve what was thrown in by the 2-year-old. Loads of fun and memories!

Another great product from Learning Resources By L. Petersonon June 10, 2014 Product Packaging: Standard PackagingVerified Purchase A nice addition to our three-year-old’s birthday party that was fishing themed. As with most things from Learning Resources, the quality and durability of this product are high. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the fish aren’t as nice as the rest of the set (I bought more with some additional poles so more than one child could fish in the pool at the same time). All in all, a good product though.
