The squeals of joy when my nephew opened this gift for his six birthday were music to my ears.
He assembled this with a little help from his daddy, another Lego boy.

My 8 year old son loves Ghostbusters.
This was a challenge for him but he did it pretty much by himself.
The pieces are not in numbered bags so it helps to open all the bags and sort the pieces by color

When finsihed you will feel so proud of yourself, and then the fun begins
…but this is a hard set that may require adult supervision, and if the adult helps then even 6 year olds can help.

…This set took us about 2 1/2 hours to put together… It’s fun to watch the car move along the track, but the real fun in toys like K’nex..is the ability to tear it down and rebuild something TOTALLY different!…

Sooo, we had this vision of setting up this roller-coaster in about the same amount of time as a Hot Wheels track.
Well, needless to say, not at all. This set requires skill and patience. Both of these are qualities that are well worth learning and instilling.
Therefore, while we had that pang of “Oh no. This looks like a project,” it turns out a “project” can be tremendous fun. (Of course!)…

It’s so hard to find great toys for kids this age – particularly something that isn’t video-related but can challenge their brains.
This is one of those toys. It’s a great gift for a 7 year old to play with alone – or with a parent.

My roommate bought one for his 4 year old son, but after using it against each other we bought more for everyone in the house. Now we go to the park on weekends at night and have wars. They shoot surprisingly far and are extremely accurate. Plus the led lights make the arrows easy to find in the dark. It’s a blast! I only wish they came with more arrows.

This bow and arrow set is easy enough for my 3 year old to use and awesome enough for my 12 year old neighbor. The bow and the arrows light up, which I think is the key feature that makes this toy so cool. Definitely a must have for boys!!

this was a christmas gift to my 7 year old daughter. she has almost all of the Lego Friends set so we thought we would start buying her the Barbie sets too.
I have to say, this one is really pretty and girly! We both loved it and loved putting it together .
I would even go as far as saying that these Barbie Mega Block sets are BETTER than Lego Friends
