My 15 year old thought this was awesome. Spent time flinging the included projectiles at me while I worked at my laptop. They are soft and spongy though so even when it bounces off your for head from across the room it doesn’t hurt at all.

This was a great gift for a 7 year old boy.
The catapult is about 8-10 inches tall. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble and is very sturdy. The foam balls are solid enough to launch but soft enough to not cause damage. Their bright orange color make them hard to lose.
The catapult allows for lots of creative play indoors or outdoors. I bought a set of ping pong balls to launch as well which also worked great.
I highly recommend this gift for boys.

Overall, this is a nice ride-on toy for a small child (3 and under), and the assembly is pretty straightforward.
However, it should be noted that the initial separation of the plastic pieces (some of which broke off in the box) leaves sharp burrs that are easily removed with a knife.

* Somehow when I saw the photos I imagined these as being rather bigger
* The minecraft-loving recipient of this Christmas gift laughed aloud and was very happy with it
* Articulation is stiff and one-directional which exactly matches the articulation of the characters in the game

I bought this…thinking it would be a great way to create more physical activity in her day.
What an understatement!…The very nature of the game requires lots of running, jumping and- yes, dodging… so the players really get a workout and have loads of fun at the same time…

Mechanically it runs great and even worked on our carpet. It does, however, work better on bare floors.
